STAR Awards for Best Practices Honor Avaya, CA, Cisco Systems, Cobalt, EMC, Hewlett-Packard, Riverbed Technology and Symantec

Avaya, EMC and Symantec also named to the STAR Awards Hall of Fame.

SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 5, 2010 – The Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA) today announced the winners of its annual STAR Awards for Best Practices at the Technology Services World conference being held this week in Silicon Valley.

Best Practices in Value-Added Support, SMB – Cobalt

Best Service Delivery Optimization, SMB – Riverbed Technology
Best Support Staff Practices – EMC
Best Use of Metrics and Business Intelligence – EMC

In addition, Avaya, EMC and Symantec achieved membership in the STAR Awards Hall of Fame. Avaya is a first time Hall of Fame inductee with five individual STAR Awards. EMC and Symantec were honored for the second time in the Hall of Fame with 10 individual STAR Awards each.  

The STAR Awards recognize technology companies who display exceptional leadership, innovation, and commitment in developing and implementing best practices.
