The valley can be considered a hub for vast number get away destinations. 
 
Less than an hour by car and you are in the heart of San Francisco. Here you will find cable cars, the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman’s Wharf, Alcatraz, China Town, the Asian Art Museum and the San Francisco Modern Art Museum – spend a day or spend the weekend! San Francisco hosts over 16 Million tourists each year – it is a city designed to provide enjoyment for everyone.

The sights and sounds of San Francisco are not to be missed, but definitely do not miss the food!  With over 500 restaurants ranging from small coffee houses and bistros to trendy high end culinary delights, San Francisco serves some of the best meals in the country. There is a significant emphasis on fresh and organic herbs and produce. And of course there is the selection of wines from the Napa, Sonoma, the Russian River, and Central coast.

Napa features a huge number of vineyards and tasting rooms ranging from the large well-known brands to small boutique wineries – all offering an exceptional experience.  Taste the best and spend a leisurely afternoon on the winemakers trail.

Pebble Beach & Carmel by the Sea – Only 81 Miles South of Our Conference Hotel

Pebble Beach and Carmel offer a different experience for its visitors.  A Mecca for golfers, tee times should be reserved as far in advance as possible for the key courses of Pebble Beach, Spanish Bay, Spyglass or the Del Monte course. 

Not interested in golf? Carmel is known for its art galleries as well as its full range of small specialty restaurants  – each providing an outstanding service.

San Jose

Can’t come a day early? Can’t fly out until Thursday?  Consider visiting San Jose’s Santana Row  for dinner or shopping in one of its many trendy shops.
